Althauser Rayan Abbarno announces Jakob McGhie as their newest Partner

The attorneys and staff with Althauser Rayan Abbarno are proud to announce their newest partner Jakob McGhie. Jakob joins existing partners Todd Rayan and Peter Abbarno.

“I couldn’t be more excited to become a partner at the firm that has been known for high quality legal representation for nearly 75 years,” said Jakob McGhie, newest partner with Althauser Rayan Abbarno. “Since I became an attorney in 2014, Todd and Peter have not only been great employers, but have also been incredible mentors. It is indescribably humbling to have earned their trust and to become their partner.”

Jakob joined Althauser Rayan Abbarno, LLP (formerly Olson Althauser Samuelson & Rayan, LLP) as an associate in 2014. He focuses his practice on criminal and DUI defense, Worker’s Compensation, landlord/tenant and property disputes, firearm rights restoration, and the expungement and sealing of criminal records.

“From our first interview with Jake fresh out of Gonzaga Law School, we could see that he had a passion for the law,” said Todd Rayan, Partner with Althauser Rayan Abbarno, LLP. “It has been really exciting and rewarding to see him grow and mature in his role. He has become a very fine attorney and advocate for his clients.”

Jakob graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. He then attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

“Since 1946, Althauser Rayan Abbarno has actively built relationships throughout our community and provides quality legal representation to individuals and businesses,” said Peter Abbarno, partner with Althauser Rayan Abbarno. “Building a successful business and law practice begins with young professionals who give back to their community and remain active in many organizations. Jake fits that role perfectly.”
