The Washington attorneys with Althauser Rayan Abbarno want to alert Washington fishermen of a new law (HB 1226) that requires a recreational fishing or shellfish license from the WDFW in order to fish for smelt and crawfish. A person must also obtain a recreational fishing license from the WDFW in order to fish for carp in most cases, however a license is not required to fish for carp in Moses Lake and Vancouver Lake.
